Transitions! Weekly Overview of Below the Bible Belt

Ending One Book and Starting Another.. Royal Hand off.. and more..

Today, I’m moved and troubled by this rare ritual moment we are witnessing now — God Save the King replaces Her Majesty. An anthem changes. A paradigm shifts. It’s not just about British reality and royalty. It’s about something that has to do with symbols in our patriarchal reality and what changes look like over time in the fabric of existence.

This moment echoes moments from history when important symbols changes in our mythic, psychic being — sometimes in ways more subtle than others but with impact on our private and public lives.

How do we mark transitions?

Below the Bible Belt today - the ghost of Joseph meet the dead queen. we said goodbye to the Book of Wilderness and began the Book of Words, the last words of Moses, as he prepares to hand over the reigns to the next leader and the next generation.

A one book ends and another opens, crown changes heads, and a new year is around the corner — how do we handle transitions and evolutions, changes and gestures of grief and growth?

Check out the new short vid.

Shabbat Shalom.
