The emails are not legible. Once I figured out how to open them in the browser, I could read it. Thanks for your responsiveness!

Am feeling into these phrases:

"...a device for orienting ourselves to distant realities even when we are in a deep diaspora"

"Daniel is not among those who goes back to the holy land. He preferred to stay in his new home, among the majority of Jews, but nevertheless kept orienting his heart towards this sacred center."

-- and the feeling of being at home *in* deep diaspora

and the image in the lines from Yehuda Amichai and from yourself dear Amichai, of being *in* Jerusalem and still orienting to an ancient shining ideal of Jerusalem
