So happy to learn why people want to be buried and not cremated. My husband Wes Christian and we wanted to be together eternally so we decided on creamation because we couldn’t be buried in the Synagogue cemetery. Neither of us was concerned about coming back and because we worked I together at The Cathedral of st John the Divine we purchased a place in the Collumbarium right there next to other friends we had worked with over the 45 years that we had been there over 45 years! My Rabbi will come do a blessing and for that I am grateful. Jose died 15 months ago and I was so pleased with the funeral that the Cathedral did and the ceremony we did when his ashes were returned.
