I think it was Jung was wrote the so called coincidence is god's way of being anonymous. I'm sure there'll be many more moments of astonishing convergence between these daily verses and our ongoing lives.. some of them private, some public.. always a wink for deeper learning and growth.

Birth in the late woodland period here where I live in Pennsylvania, Lenape Women (now known as Delaware Indians) gave birth in a hut away from the village or out of doors. Meat, fish and salt were avoided until the baby’s umbilical cord fell off. Cold water was avoided.

Is there any coincidence that we read this chapter of Va’Yikra, dealing with these (which could be read as “punitive”) rituals surrounding childbirth, just as SCOTUS has enacted laws to punish women for exercising autonomy over their own bodies?

Remarkable that two occurrences happen at the same time. I was thinking that the timing of this reading with SCOTUS’s ruling on abortion/childbirth was no coincidence.
